We grow the grapes

Cabernet Franc and Viognier. These are the varieties we planted at Dover Hall in 2018, and the starting point for 7 Lady Vineyards.

Our roots are here in Virginia. Our curiosity takes us further.

Honeysuckle, white blossom and stone fruit. A floral, fruit-forward white fermented in stainless steel.

Black raspberry, violet and tobacco leaf, with fine tannins and a savory finish.

Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Merlot. Dried cherry, blackberry leaf and cedar with firm tannins.

04 / The people behind the vines

Good wine starts
with good company.

Chad Hornik and Jeff Ottaviano planted the first vines at Dover Hall in 2018. Chad brings his experience as a winemaker and sommelier. Jeff is the viticulturist.

Their shared enthusiasm for wine reaches beyond Virginia, through relationships with winemakers from Napa to Mendoza.

Our name honors seven women whose love, belief and support helped make 7 Lady Vineyards possible.
